Registration for "Recursive Sequence and the Golden Ratio (HS)"

Recursive Sequence and the Golden Ratio: In this mini camp, we'll start by examining simple recursive sequences, and then we'll derive the explicit formula for Fibonacci-like sequences using elementary methods. We'll also explain why the golden ratio is the most irrational number. (Students who are familiar with basic arithmetic and geometric sequences)
Students will bring their own lunch and drinks to camp.




Where: NYU Courant Institute, 251 Mercer St (map). Room TBD.
Instructor: Isabella Shen.
Registration fee: $160. (Fee may be reduced based on financial need; see FAQ).

Parental consent is required. If the cost presents a financial hardship for your family, you can request a fee reduction on the next page.
