Registration for "Generating Function (HS)"

Generating Function: A generating function is a representation of an infinite sequence of numbers as the coefficients of a formal power series. Generating functions can be used to solve complex problems in counting, probability, and algebra. We'll introduce generating functions and take a look at a collection of application problems using generating functions. (Students who have completed algebra 2)
Students will bring their own lunch and drinks to camp.




Where: NYU Courant Institute, 251 Mercer St (map). Room TBD.
Instructor: Isabella Shen.
Registration fee: $160. (Fee may be reduced based on financial need; see FAQ).

Parental consent is required. If the cost presents a financial hardship for your family, you can request a fee reduction on the next page.
