Registration for "Math at the Edge of Infinity (HS)"

July 9, 10am to 3 pm
Math at the Edge of Infinity: Why is there a π in the formula for the area of a circle? Why is there a 4/3 in the volume formula for a sphere? Why is the constant e important? We'll answer these hard-to-answer questions with the help of calculus (but no calculus knowledge is required!) (Students who have completed geometry)
Students will bring their own lunch and drinks to camp.




Where: NYU Courant Institute, 251 Mercer St (map). Room TBD.
Instructor: Isabella Shen.
Registration fee: $160. (Fee may be reduced based on financial need; see FAQ).

Parental consent is required. If the cost presents a financial hardship for your family, you can request a fee reduction on the next page.
